I’m finding that all day my anxiety is absolutely fine or at least on an even kiln and then as the late afternoon and evening come around I start to feel the anxiety creep up! Muscle tension all in my shoulders and neck and then the strange head sensations start too and the tight band feeling. Literally moving my neck side to side I can feel the tight muscles. I live in a high stress environment, have 5 dogs, 2 disabled children and a disabled husband so I guess I’m pretty stressed lmao

Sounds like you are a bundle of nerves try to do something relaxing for yourself. Maybe take a hot bath or at least a hot shower, do something that you find relaxing that'll be a good step towards getting some relief.

Hi there Watermelon. Most sufferers have little idea of what anxiety can do to the body. It can mimic any known disease, and often many unknown ones, once the idea gets established in the mind. You are obviously in a very stressful situation, and its's not easy to see a way out. As the day goes on you get tired, and that tiredness translates into pain in the muscles. A runner will get tired and ache after a workout. But they accept that and carry on. You could well be making the situation worse by worrying about it. But don't for one moment think I am minimising your suffering, Been there!! That tight band round the head is a very typical anxiety symptom, and is caused by tight muscles. Is there any way you can sit quietly on your own for just short while, take deep breaths and try and relax I say try, because it's not easy for an anxiety sufferer. Also, try and accept how you feel without worrying about it. Worry increases tension. take care.

Yes my anxiety is worst at night. I wake up tense, then manage to get on with all the tasks I have to do, then my anxiety disappears for a while. Then as the day wears on it gradually builds again as I contemplate having to go through the whole cycle again. It's like it's become a habit for me.
