Hello friends.

I know health Anxiety can cause a downward spiral to question every ache and pain as something sinister or even grim.
But like many here we have been given a Clean bill of health or something else minor.

But we still question our doctor's by using Google or webmd.
In October of 2019 I was walking thru a full blown nightmare.
I couldn't stop having the urge to urinate and my pelvic area hurt.
So what did I do?
I used Google and fooled myself into thinking I had bladder cancer thanks to WebMD and Google.
Nope I had pelvic floor dysfunction which is a chronic issue caused by Anxiety and ibs.

If your doctor gave you a clean bill of health stop questioning everything and going doctor to doctor over and over like I did.

I had 2 CT scans and 1 MRI when this issue happened and still I didn't think they're right and wanted more scans and would question the knowledge of the doctors.
But one thing that woke me up is a CT scan is not looked at mainly by your ER doctor it's sent to a radiologist who is a highly trained MD and radiologist who looks at these all day.

Best thing I can say is trust your doctor
When my issue happened I had been to the ER over 8 times looking for the diagnosis that was grim and telling myself they're wrong, you must fight Anxiety it's not your friend.

Interesting. I recently convinced myself that I have some kind of of sacral tumor (sacral chordoma is what I narrowed in on) because I have a sore tailbone and tingling in my left foot. I originally thought I had bowel or colon cancer but that was ruled out by a colonoscopy. Recently I went to a physio who told me I have pelvic floor dysfunction in that I have muscles in my pelvic floor that are very tight and won't relax, which is pulling my tailbone forward and causing pressure on the pundendal nerve causing tingling in my foot. She said if it was a sacral chordoma that was big enough to put my tailbone out of wack, she would feel it with her finger (because she put it up my butt to check my pelvic floor muscles.) This put me at ease for a bit, but when my symptoms come back I start thinking about how people that have sacral tumors are often told they have pundendal neurologia or something similar.

Are you a male or female?
Pelvic floor dysfunction can get better with stretching the pelvic floor daily.
I do this everyday for 20 minutes.
Have you had the urge to urinate with this?

I'm a male. I don't have urges to urinate. I do stretches and relaxation excercises, but not a lot of effect yet. It's only been a week and a half.

I wish it was that easy.

It's good you found out sooner than later.
When it hits a full blown flare up
It's a nightmare urge to urinate every 5 minutes and pelvic pain.
I'm 95% cured of this.
It's the same as cpps
