A little over two years ago I got bad abdominal pain in my lower right abdomen and by my belly button. I drove myself to the ER and CT scan showed nothing. Made an appointment with a GI doctor and and once my anxiety over everything subsided it went away eventually. Now it’s back of course and I’m not sure what to do. It is OK in the morning and kind of comes and goes through the day as a dull ache or tight feeling and gets worse as I’m laying down for bed. I’ve already had my appendix removed and got a colonoscopy scheduled for February but it’s the same feeling as two years ago, so I assume it’s nothing sinister. I’ve had a negative H pylori test and am on protonix of and on so I don’t think it’s an ulcer. The GI keeps saying IBS, GERD and anxiety but I’m frustrated because I don’t know how to fix it even if I calm down about it.
