It takes prozac 4 to 6 weeks to get in your system so the withdrawals shouldn't be bad!

CA, have you talked to your doctor about quitting the Prozac?

If you haven't, I would.

you should always discuss this stuff with your doctor. there's a possibility what you're experiencing is not related to the prozac and if it is, they should be able to switch you to something else. physically, you should be fine. it takes several weeks to start working and usually involves at least one dosage increase. you're still on the starter dose which is often what you tapper down to when you go off it.

I did go off it then I started to feel like this
I didn't have any side effects when I quit but I had been on it for 10 years and did a slow taper off. I wouldn't think you would have side effects after only being on it for 1 week, but definitely call your Dr and discuss with him about stopping it and your current symptoms. Hope it gets better.
