Psilocybin (magic mushrooms). Has anyone tried this as a tool?

Hey all, I'm new here (my first post!) but I'm curious to find out if anyone else has had experience with psilocybin (the main ingredient in magic mushrooms) as a tool to reduce anxiety?

Full disclosure: I have been microdosing with my own psilocybin tinctures for some time now, but the results have prompted me to find out more about other people's experiences.

It's a natural plant that grows pretty much everywhere, but is still criminalized in many places. This makes access an issue for many, but that seems to be changing quickly as many local governments move to decriminalize it.

Has anyone else had experience with it – good, bad or otherwise?

Yes. l grown my own magic mushrooms and tried them in small doses twice. First time was great felt really happy, then the second time l freaked out and cried. But l have noticed long term my anxiety and my mind in general is in a much better place. Its not so much whilst on them that l love but the long term after effects. My husband on the other hand took massive doses and didn't even feel it. So strange.

I saw an episode about it and it seemed like it really helped people. I would like to try it (in the hope that it would help with my anxiety) but I am probably too scared to ever really do it.

I totally get the fear factor, qwerty4. There is a lot of uncertainty around them because they've been legally locked away from us for so long unfortunately. There was little to no fear before our governments started their propaganda campaigns demonizing them.

Read up and get informed, there is a lot of great anecdotal evidence as well as scientific research coming out to prove magic mushrooms are not only safe, but can really make a difference to those in need.

I've been putting together resources and other things for people interested on my website, getting a lot of positive feedback. I won't post links here out of respect for forum rules, but I'm easy to find under a search for bluemasi. And I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, just reach out here or there.
