I started Prozac 10 mg yesterday. Hope to stay on 10 mg for 2 weeks then increase to 20 mg.

I was diagnosed with PTSD, GAD and mild OCD. I have an appointment with a CBD and EMDR therapist next week.
I would love to hear any similar experiences. I’m nervous and really want to feel better.
Oh I’m exercising 30 minutes per day and journaling too.
This all feels exhausting. Thank you!

Slept great last night. Today the extra anxiety is setting in. Or is it? I’m not sure if it’s extra or just a regular bad anxiety day. I need to stop reading other people’s stories.

Are you on Prozac or thinking of starting?

No, my psychiatrist tried me out on Zoloft and after 2 sleepless night and nausea, had me stop. Then tried Rebilify which was not as bad but still could barely sleep with it.

Zoloft didn’t work for me. I felt the same but added a super twitchy foot shake.

I had a pharmacist tell me about 2 weeks in to stick with it. It was pretty rough while my body adjusted. Started at 10 and am now steady at 20 for a year. It’s been life changing. That said if it doesn’t work for you, antidepressants are odd and people tolerate them differently so don’t get discouraged! I love it personally. It’s been life changing

I've been on 20mg for agoraphobia and panic disorder for years. It has worked well for me. I hate that it makes me lose a ton of hair but that's about it.
