Ugh I hate when I'm suppose to be having a great time and I am but my heart is just pounding now I'm sitting alone while my friends chat and although I'm trying to chat the thumping is so loud to me that I'm just trying not to die I hate this o_O:banghead::banghead:

Breathing method? Anything that previously helped you? Sounds like a anxiety episode or panic attack to me. Can you tell your friends like "hold up I have to fix this thing I have anxiety" or just get out of there for a sec? You aren't going to die. This isn't harming your heart. :)

I can completely relate. Sometimes stepping away and going to say, your car of the bathroom and taking as much time as you need can help. Lowering the amount of stimulation does wonders

I completely understand! Panic attacks can ruin so many otherwise great moments. Yeah it’s best to get away from anything overstimulating. I retreat to someplace quiet, put some lavender oil on my nose (the smell is strong enough to “bring me back,”) and listen to meditative music. Also telling someone what I’m experiencing is helpful. Don’t fight it alone or deny it by hiding it. It might lead to a buildup
