panic attack after panic my lifes been hell

My lifes been hell after this H pylori infection. Constant thoughts of catching it again and the small ache and sensation on stomach area its giving me panic attack. I am at the point of giving up. This thoughts of catching it again again taking antibiotics the fear of antibiotic resistance omg thoughts of not being able to identify real or anxiety symptoms and chance of being missed. i am at my lowest. I am not able to think straight also.I dont know why i am so scared of This bacteria

Sorry you're in such a spiral with it. I totally understand. Can you think of other illnesses you've had, that you've recovered from and haven't come back. Or have years later and again you've been ok again? It sounds like you've done everything your Dr has said which is finish the course of antibiotics and did I see on your post you've started anxiety meds too? Give yourself credit and don't be hard on yourself you are looking after yourself more than you think! My son had a different bacterial infection last year and it was hard to rid of and I had the same worries as you so I understand. Time just helped me relax and fingers crossed it hasnt come back for him. What I think now is actually relief that I no the antibiotics worked so will do next time.

I'm so sorry your going threw this. It's a very low chance that it will come back. My daughter was treated twice just because the first time she didn't take the pills right. But it's a very low chance it will come back. Just take a deep breath and relax you will be OK. My daughter is doing really good after treating it. TBH im not from a western country so the chance of me getting is pretty high than the western country. But i know the fact this bacteria wont cause anything to most people. some time i do think i have probably got this bacteria many many years ago may be when i was kid it just happen to do
something now. i cant avoid anything and make my life more miserable . so i have to build whatever attitude and go on with it. I just have to accept i may again get it may be it wont do any thing or i might have to face its consequences. BTW im from nepal
