However one. I'm a 39 year old mom in Ohio, that's been battling with this is a better part of my life. I've tried several forums and I hope that this 1 is a good 1. I have a lot of symptoms and I am not the typical Health anxiety person that runs to the doctor all the Time, Quite the opposit, I tend to stay away from doctors as much as possible. I'm not really sure what else am supposed to put here On the introduction but I guess I will just dive into the forums. I look forward to getting to know some of you!

Hi and welcome BallOfNerves. Hope this forum proves to be helpful to you. I too have agoraphobia along with GAD. I'm on medication and disability and I have a nice enough, understanding doctor who lets me get my meds renewed over the phone.

Welcome to the forum. Not a big fan of doctors and hospitals either. Though over the past few months that seems to be were I spent most of my time. Always the way. I found in the hospital they made no allowances for my anxiety at all. Refused to add my normal medication to the medication they were giving me. Had to fight to get it. That's life for you. Hope you enjoy the forums here. Been very active since I joined. I was also on another forum that had no posting at all going on.

Welcome Ballofnerves, everyone here is super helpful and we never judge. I can't stand doctors or hospitals of any kind I don't trust them. I recently got my medical records sent to me because I'm trying to get disability and I couldn't believe all the mean and ****** up **** they wrote down about me.

Wow maybe I should get my medical records and see what's being said about me. It's really sad how we are treated in general , let alone by medical professionals.

I would recommend it. This is the same doctor that once told me "I'll never be normal" lol no **** I've felt different my entire life. I feel like doctors would never say half the things they've said to me if I was being treated for a psychical problem. Honestly I was surprised how Indepth my records were ever single thing I ever told my doctors was written down. Stuff I don't even remember telling him but I must have. Like there was a page about me taking Magic Mushrooms when I was a teenager. I was suicidal for awhile after I got off my meds my Anxiety got so bad I didn't want to even be here. He wrote some bullshit like nebulous suicidal thoughts like the **** I'm dealing with wasn't real that pissed me off. I checked myself into a psychiatric ward it felt pretty ******* real to me. Actual you probably don't want to read your records anyway. Someone who has never suffered any type of mental illness passing off text book answers.
