I have been having this pain under my left shoulder blade for a few days now and I did a bad thing and googled and of course heart attack came up and i started freaking out. I had a dr appt today and my blood pressure is usually low/normal and today it was 140/80. Im not overweight or smoke. I was in a full blown panic attack though at the time. And that made it 10x worse. The dr didnt even mention my blood pressure. I was going to the dr to get back on anti anxiety meds but asked him about the pain while I was there and he said its probably my anxiety, it's a common symptom. But I'm still worried. This happen to anyone else ?

I stopped to get my meds filled and took my blood pressure there and it's still high 4 hrs later 118/82, the 82 is what's high. Of course anxiety kicked in again. My shoulder blade is really hurting and I'm convinced I have a heart attack or blood clot.

I have to agree with your doctor not mentioning your blood pressure, particularly since it was taken under a high anxiety situation. It's just not that high, even the 82. Hopefully that shoulder blade pain will pass when your anxiety gets under control.

When you feel anxious, your blood pressure goes up! If you’re doctors not worried about it, you shouldn’t either! I hope your shoulder feels better!

82 is not that high for BP. I've also had pain under my left shoulder and pain going down my left arm. I had blood tests and an EKG last Friday (for a panic attack) and they came back okay. I've also Googled a lot of symptoms and it just makes my anxiety worse. I hope your shoulder gets to feeling better soon!
