Overwhelmed and overthinking everything

Hi I'm new here and lately I've just been feeling so overwhelmed with everything going on in my life, but because of my anxiety I feel like I'm just overthinking things all of the time. It makes me feel lonely and like I'm insane, but really I just need someone to talk to.

Does anyone else feel the same way? How do you deal with it or what strategies do you use to help ground yourself?

Sorry you're going through a hard time, I wish I could share some strategies, but I'm in the same boat as you. Although I must admit talking to people on here helps me.. It's reassuring to know we're not alone :)

Welcome beanna. I'm even overthinking this post. You're certainly not alone having your anxiety being overwhelming and making you think you're going crazy. I go through it every morning, being baffled by just about anything. By afternoon I've improved enough to clarify with myself that I'm not going crazy, just have chronic anxiety. I hope you can develop a support system, family or friends that you can confide in who will be compassionate and willing to try to understand what you're going thru. Again, welcome.

hi beanna...nice to have another person join our group :) i wish it was a group of better circumstances but...we all have to try and deal what weve been given, right? i think most of us on here go thru phases of what your feeling :( but the important thing to remember is that your not "insane" and not "alone". even if you dont have family or friends that can relate, EVERYONE of us here can. medications, therapy or even holistic approaches help many of us. or just pray <3 i pray for everyone that has this disorder that we all can find our way again and just make it thru our day to day tasks.

Hi all, thank you for your support, it's (unfortunately) comforting to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way. Hopefully we can all get through this together.

Welcome @beanna26 to the forum. Have a look into mindfulness. It can help you relax and calm your mind. Gives you some needed relief from overthinking.
