What are some of your outlets to escape anxiety. I like to get out on the open highway and feel the wind.

I try to get invested in something else that let me stop thinking for a while. I have different degrees of success but by putting my attention away from my existance or trying to use it as a push to create it makes it more bearable.

In no particular order:

- Waliking
- Playing videogames.
- Daydreaming.
- Trying to write down stories.
- Drawing
- Watching a movie, cartoon, etc
- Listening to music
- Checking online communities

I basically cling to anything I can to distract me a bit or to let it out either by talking it or trying stuff.

I like to play pc games that are relaxing and makes you slow down and be patient, on order to accomplish something.
I listen to music as well, some music just soothes me, or makes me feel calmer. It is hard to say which genre in particular, some music is just randomly soothing I guess.
I also keep a little notebook to write in or draw in whenever I feel too anxious, and there is no theme, no objective, just an outlet.

Adult coloring books have been great for me.... even a person with OCD. I didn't like them for a while but I gave it one last shot with crayons instead of colored pencils this time and it works wonders for me.
