Well I went to the hospital. Yet my obsessions with seizure continue, I follow Twitter pages dedicated to it, YouTube pages Facebook groups, websites. Why am I doing this it's its so self destructive. I cannot stop though. I'm almost addicted to learning about this and it drives me crazy. I'm scared of having a seizure but I make myself feel worst by searching it nearly everyday

I remember an old saying "We create what we fear". I am sure you do not want to have a seizure. They have a lot of good positive things on Twitter, Youtube and FB groups. I agree, it is very self destructive. You tell yourself you cannot stop, therefore you won't stop but you can stop if you choose to. Why do you choose to do that to yourself?

I just cant stop telling myself my symptoms are seizure related. I cant escape the cycle of believing it. I jerk and twitch and I cant be convinced its anxiety

You continue to tell yourself you can't, therefore you won't but you can if you choose to. How do you feel right now in the present moment? How long have you been feeling like you are having a seizure? Has it happen yet? More than likely it won't.

I woke myself up because I shake in my sleep now :( I scare myself. I twitch and my body jolts awake like a hypnic jerk. I'm just terrified. My husband said my whole body jerks forward. I know j dont have seizures. Do you think my anxirty is mimicking what I've seen ?

My husband jerks in his sleep all the time and he has not had a seizure. Being that you went to the ER and they felt you were not having a seizure, it sounds like Anxiety.

Thank you for that. I feel like if I can stop obsessing about it, it will go away

i think it's crucial for you to unfollow all of those youtube channels, twitter accounts, facebook groups, etc.

honestly, you might need to just take a break from the internet.

If it helps, I jolt awake especially if I’m anxious for sure it’s going to happen. It can almost feel like an electric jolt and I get fidgety and any little noise can wake up In a panic, to the point my boyfriend wakes up from feeling me(he jerks ridiculously as well in his sleep but he stays asleep). You’re not alone anxiety can definitely cause this and so much more I am learning through a rough process and @matisworried is right about unfollowing those pages for now. The more you look up the worst it gets, you’ll second guess everything even a doctor says because of what you read, I know because I am transitioning still from erasing what google told me and had me fully believe that I had vs what the actual doctor told me. It really helps to not read on these things!

it really is similar to a drug addict or an alcoholic trying to "kick the habit" while continuing to use drugs or drink alcohol.

you'll never escape your anxiety if you continue to engage in behavior that YOU KNOW makes your anxiety worse.
