I’ve never been told I have endometriosis. And I’m almost 39 and I’ve had two kids. Heavy periods after tubal but had an US. Polyp in uterine and had a uterine ablation. Everything else looked fine but that was 5 years ago.
I worry about the pains I’m having down low bc I thought it was my groin area but on another cervical cancer sight, a person younger than me said she had hip flexor pain and ibs symptoms and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I’ve had tons of IBS symptoms but I’ve had them for years.
I’ve had diarrhea off and on last night and today. I don’t know if it’s from anxiety and stress or something else!

Did any of you with similar symptoms ever get the right and/of left shoulder blade pain? I’m trying to talk myself into going to the ER tonight. I just can’t bear the thought of getting bad news and coming home to look at my kids after that! Knowing how much it will affect them...

And... just as soon as I get a little glimmer of hope that it could be something that’s not fatal/terminal... I remember the dream I had the night before the pain started and the woman telling me to never ignore hip pain because it would be cancer. At that point, I woke up and remember thinking “well I guess at least it wouldn’t be pancreatic cancer.” Ugh!!

It's your worst fear and currently on your mind that is why you dreamt of it

Yes, but I had the dream BEFORE the pain started.
That’s why I’m so worried about it! Feels like my nightmares are coming true...

@Scared1234 Please get yourself to the ER and get checked out. I don't think for one minute that there is anything bad going on with you but your HA is making it this way. You/HA is frightening you into this rabbit hole. I have been there, it is horrible and the only thing that calmed me down was a visit to the ER. I thought I had bowel cancer or ovarian cancer, nothing anyone said would help get this off my mind until I finally went for my third visit. I would imagine the shoulder pain is your tension from all of this. Good luck and keep us posted. Sending hugs.

I did end up going. Still not a lot of answers, but I had a CT scan done (with contrast). A few things showed but but I don’t think anything too terrible. My appendix and bladder couldn’t be seen very well so can’t rule out appendix pain. The pancreases was unremarkable (yay!!), has some nonobstructivenonspecific bowel gas pattern, still have blood in urine but no kidney stones or infection. They did find multiple hypodense lesions within the bilateral kidneys that they say most likely represent numerous bilateral rental cysts. I am supposed to follow up with my PCP to see if she wants to send me to a specialist. I specifically asked if that was cancer and he said no.
The only worrisome part and he didn’t seem worried: my bilirubin was raised by 1 point over normal but the other liver number was fine. The common bile duct is dilated but apparently that’s common when you’ve had your gallbladder removed. My liver size is larger than a normal one according to the dimensions but the doctor never even mentioned that and it’s not listed under the “impressions”.
While I know there’s a chance he could have missed a small ovarian cyst or tumor by having CT versus ultrasound, at least it doesn’t appear to be anywhere else in my body. Surely the CT would have picked that up.
The other thing listed under pelvis findings which the doctor didn’t mention was degenerative joint disease at the pubic symposia joint. Maybe that’s where my groin pain is from.
Hopefully meeting with my doctor will make me feel even more at ease with these findings. The doctor said he didn’t feel anything in the ovary section and I didn’t feel the tenderness I had before. And believe me, he dug around. I could feel it and it was slightly uncomfortable but nothing unmanageable. As long as the ovaries are ok, I will feel better. And as long as nothing sinister comes from the liver issues or the kidney issues!
Thanks for thinking of me and giving great advice and support!

Sounds great! Sounds like you are in good shape!

Yes, I sure hope so. I’m (of course) worried about the lesions in the kidneys and having blood in my urine (not seen by the visible eye). I specifically asked him if the lesions meant cancer and he said no, they are thought to be cysts. And I have several of them. One is pretty big and the others are really small.
My culture came back from my dr visit as no UTI so it’s obviously not that. He said it could be from the cysts but he didn’t know if that would cause the blood. I think I also had some protein in my urine too. But I don’t know that I had that when I had my urine tested the other day. Hopefully the kidney dr agrees that there’s nothing sinister about all of this! But I can take pancreatic cancer and probably ovarian cancer off the table now.
I’m still having the hip pain. And I’m wondering if maybe my bladder has stones in it, as they couldn’t see my bladder well on the CT because I hadn’t had anything to drink for a long time and had an empty bladder.

sorry to ask this dumb question, im confused where the hip exactly is. Does the hip include the buttocks? Im asking because im feeling some dull pain in my left buttock area itself but not on the side hip if that makes any sense. Is that considered a hip pain? Also i have this dull pain on my left thigh which sometimes radiate to my left foot like pins and needles. I don’t notice any redness or swelling but the pain is lingering for months now. I too am concerned about OC.

I think more of the hip bone area when I think of the hip. But if you google a picture, it will show you all the areas of the hip! Maybe sciatica nerve?
