Hi Phil. Welcome. I think the first and perhaps the most important thing, in my opinion, is to get a fair amount of sleep. Also, I think it would be in your favor to limit caffeine and sugar. Stack everything, no matter how large or small, in your favor that you can. Is it a long distance move?

Hi! I know this is a late response, but I would recommend the book "The Happiness Trap" - it has a ton of coping techniques for anxiety and actually has really helped me through my latest attack. I used to have severe panic attacks and lingering anxiety afterwards- I still have panic and anxiety but with the coping techniques I've learned they are way more manageable. Hope this helps!

I can tell you what I do to calm down. I take magnesium twice a day, exercise everyday, and drink chamomile tea. Not sure if you tried any of this, but it helped me. Take vitamins too, cause when you are stressed you can get depleted.

Heart Palps suck,! Mine used to flip flop skip pound, race etc... It was all anxiety and caffeine, nicotine induced. I lowered my caffeine to a cup of joe in the morning, maybe a 12 once diet Pepsi in the afternoon, I quit drinking almost a year ago, doc put me on Klonopin 5 months ago and that really helped all that. We can really jive up our electrical system sometimes with our thoughts and habits! Try and relax talk to a good doc, reduce caffeine and nicotine, don't lay down and worry about another palp, cause I for one could make them happen with my thoughts about them happening. If all else fails try some medicine.
