I have been diagnosed with gad about 3 yrs ago. Had a massive panic attack not realizing thats what it was went to er had all the tests done all ok. Was prescribed zoloft took it for a while then stopped taking it because i felt better. I know mistake. Then started to take it again and then last friday i had an attack. Is this normal starting back on the meds.

Can be normal if off them for a while. At times things don't seem to work as good second time around. Just keep an eye on how you are feeling. If there is no change at all, talk to your doctor. You might be put on something new.

Welcome Rhelmick. I am new to taking medication for anxiety (buspar) and have some initial benefits but expecting full med effects in a few weeks. I have received wonderful support since joining this site and hope we can support each other on this journey.
