Hello everyone , im new here and want to share with you my symptoms. Im not sure if its all anxiety or whatever the case may be but if you have any or all these symptoms im about to post please share with me your feedback...anyway iv done mri,mra,ct san , blood work you name it..all normal ..
I had a sinus surgery two weeks ago for chronic sinusitus meaning my sinuses were blocked, due to crooked nasal and infection and a over grown bone so all thats been removed. I had my tonsuls and andenoids removed as well...i suffer from sleep apnea..
Well here it goes its been 6 months by and i still feel the same ..symptoms
Heaviness in my head
Dizziness
Fainting spells
Heart palpitations
And its 24/7

Can anyone relate to this ..is this realy anxiety or does this sound more like a health issue..
Any feedback would help

Welcome! To me, it sounds like anxiety. I’ve had all of the above and been checked out and it all stemmed from my anxiety. Go to your primary care doctor though, and be up front and honest about how you’re feeling. They can take the steps they need to get to the bottom of it. Whether it’s anxiety, or anything else that could be causing it. I pray you get to the bottom of everything.

Hello Mandy, Thank you for your input. I have been dealing with anxiety myself , but also stress and I am dealing with it the best I can. I would like to know how the two, work hand in hand? I spoke in a previous post about the “flight or fight “ syndrome. As I have a wife and 3 kids, and step son.Communication, and understanding, has been lacking. As it’s been hard to break through barriers.I have 2 small children, who I absolutely adore but feel disconnected with. Whom I feel I don’t do enough with, or involve them in my life more. And I have been feeling the need to remove myself from a toxic environment,any advice from anyone out there?

Hi Scottguidry. I believe that anxiety and stress feed off of each other. Stress can increase your anxiety while the anxiety itself makes you feel more stressed. My main suggestion to anyone with anxiety is to concentrate on doing whatever necessary to get enough sleep. Any of us who have had panic attacks have experienced the symptoms you've listed.
It's a challenge raising kids when you're having trouble keeping yourself together. I would suggest that you and your wife go to a therapist who perhaps can better explain to your wife the hell you're going through with your anxiety disorder.

Thanks triceps, I am trying to breakthrough and take it one day at a time.And I desperately need help, because the anxiety seems to get worse. The stress continues to worsen my self being, memory, etc. I feel stuck and not able to help myself, and my family around me. It’s the pressure I’m applying, but I will seek therapy and take it one day at a time!Thanks......God bless

Thing is to go to a doctor. Like we all have. He will do a few blood tests. We have all had them done too. Nearly always to hear that everything is just fine. So once they rule out the physical, they then begin to look at the mental aspect of things. What is currently going on in your life right now. Looking for something that might be causing you anxiety / stress. Those first steps are the most important ones of all. We all had to take them at some point in time. From there it might go, therapy, medication and try to work out what is best for you. Not going to tell you it will be easy. Frightens a lot of people to begin with. Just the name ' mental Illness ' still has a stigma around it. From the off let us make it clear that it doesn't mean you are ' Mad '. Simply means there is an imbalance going on in your brain causing you a lot of these anxiety issues. Which they will simply try and correct for you. But it can take time for some people. Others can find that once they get that first bit of help things begin to sort themselves out. You never can tell.

Thanks Cuchculan, for me alot of the problem has been my environment work/home. Throw in financial challenges, and it’s a recipe for disaster. I love my family and wife, but I seem to take on a brunt of the responsibility. The conversation helps, but I keep putting bandaids on huge gashes if you know what I mean?

I too, have to 2 small children. I’ve been in a really dark place for the last week and yesterday I finally made myself get up and go out and do things with them. Because I thought, if I’m dying, I don’t want them to remember me as this mopey person who didn’t care about interacting with her kids. I want them to know I love them and care about their happiness way more than that of myself. They’re my world and I can’t fathom the thought of them thinking their mommy didn’t love them enough to get out of the rut she was in and put them first. It was the best day I’ve had in a long time. And I’ve went through the marriage woes. I thought at one point that I was going to end up divorced. But after talking it through with him and a TON of prayer, we’ve worked it out. Like I told another poster today, There’s always hope in any situation. But you have to work for it. I pray things work out for you and your family.
