There have been changes of management in the office and i have a new supervisor, She is teaching me a new task on the computer, I worry that this and other new tasks won't work out and somehow im going to get dismissed! I hada tremendous rapport with my old supervisor. I detest change!

Hi chronic and welcome. I'm retired now but clearly remember obsessing over work mostly with unrealistic, sometimes paranoid thinking. It was almost like I didn't get any days off as I would still worry about going back to work and especially about any changes that might have happened. Can I ask what type of work you do and how long you've been there? You might be in an irreplaceable position and haven't allowed yourself to know it.
Im an office assistant, Basically i do general office tasks. Imm learining a new one dealing with renaiming invoices for data input. I guess i always wanted to do something new but get scared when the new task comes to fruition.Hi chronic and welcome. I dont know, I got reprepanded because of misfiling some invoices that were of the same company yet meant to be put in different kinds of files called blanket orders. I also got repreimanded for thiinking something was lost but wasn't and got reamed for that, My old supervisor would've just said "Good job finding it," This supervisor chastised me. Im terrified because she can determine my fate there(Or be very instrumental in it)
Hi chronic. That sounds like a tougher situation than you deserve. Hopefully those were just verbal reprimands. Sometimes supervisors that are that hard-line will get everyone to do a better job and that will make things easier for your job. At least she was woman enough to deal directly instead of complaining to those above her.
