Last week I felt like I was taking a deep breath but it wasn’t satisfying/felt like I wasn’t getting enough oxygen out of it and my lungs were burning. I ended up at the ER. Another EKG, more extensive blood work, chest X-ray, etc.) found nothing wrong but got reassurance that my heart as of right now is healthy as it should be as far as they can tell. Told it was probably anxiety or possibly muscle spasms causing the sensation of restriction. Sent home with Acid Reflux meds and an inhaler (Honestly, i think the inhaler was just prescribed to make me “feel” better. I’m scared to use it because it increases anxiety.)
About four days ago, I started to feel a headache coming on. I took medicine and was able to stop it from getting severe. Next day the same thing happened again. The third day I had no symptoms. Then yesterday, I felt the headache start again. I took something but it didn’t touch the pain. I thought it was a migraine (ice pick type pain in my temple, dull pain behind ear, limited to left side, mild nausea, sensitivity to bright lights.) when the pain was most severe, my ear began to hurt. In addition to the pain, my left side of my face began to feel tight, numb, pins and needles feeling. I decided to go to urgent care and they treated me for the migraine. While i was at the doctors office, my facial muscles began to twitch. Now I’m afraid I have an aneurysm or something. The pain wasn’t even that terrible, definitely not the worst headache I’ve ever had. It was the muscle tightness/burning/twitching that scared me most. It started happening again about two hours ago. When I feel it tighten up, sometimes my nose runs. Anyone else experience this or something similar?
