Schools getting close and my wife and I are doing our best not to lose our minds over the virus. The restrictions are tight, but we both see absolutely no way to keep it from spreading, masks or not. I feel as though we will definitely catch it. Am I being overly pessimistic? We're both mid to late 30's two kids etc. I just can't make my mind up whether this is so much to worry over or not. Do many what ifs.

I feel you on that my fiancee is a teacher also plus her sister and brother in law are. I'm very nervous for us all. I feel as if it's just stupid to reopen schools at this time. Just look at the MLB they barely started the baseball season and may have to cancel it due to covid-19. I saw another story yesterday around 260 people got covid-19 at a camp. I just see this as being a huge mistake and it'll just continue to get worse. Vote 2020 people.

I'd not worry about the virus.
Most Americans don't realise how close we are to death daily.
To sum it it your wife has a higher chance of dying in a car accident on way to work than covid.
2800 Americans per month.
Stop watching the News!

Does your school district have additional precautions in place? Hybrid model to increase social distancing, distance-learning etc.? I teach as well, but we have those additional precautions. In addition to wearing masks, and the classrooms are not allowed to mix with other children-can’t eat in the cafeteria, use the gym etc.
