My partner has COVID

She's high risk and needs to be on antivirals, but of course her doctor is on vacation right now and she's having trouble getting someone to give it to her. Her chest is badly congested. I'm extremely worried, especially since she's so avoidant of medical stuff she's very likely to keep blowing things off. And it's not like I can make her do anything. Would rather not end up a widow at 39 but it's been two days and I'm already exhausted of pushing her on these things and her getting mad at me for it.

This Omicron gig is really only killing folk over 85. It's like a heavy cold. Blocked up chest also. No big deal. She'll be fine and dandy

I hope you're right. I know the odds are like one in a hundred thousand but given that her health isn't the best to begin with (she's immunocompromised) I worry. Haven't heard from her all day but could be a million reasons for that. I had the first Omicron variant and it sucked but it wasn't too bad, hopefully this will be more of the same.

My immune system is shot. I had covid 4 times. Still alive

How is your partner doing? My husband just tested positive so now I wait…
