Hello to everyone ,
My name is Yanni .
I would like to share my short story to get some feedback and guidance.
I'm a healthy 27 year old male with super high metabolism that trains at the gym pretty often for muscle gain.
I've been going through breakup which i wanted i'm also an over thinker person. I have a business and i'm trying to get rid of my merchandise so it adds to the thinking a lot.
I am suppose to copy my life to Los Angeles by the end of may.
As far as trying to understand what is going on in my life right now i don't think that the moving and the breakup is part of my stress because i feel like im over it but i had to introduce some information before talking about the problem.
I have to mention that prior to my horrible event i had a serious lack of sleep probably because of thinking about my ex a lot. i used to wake up around 4 am and stay a wake till a fall a sleep again so i really get 4 hours sometimes( i know i said i'm over it but i really don't feel like the breakup causes me to stress but a lack of sleep)
12 days ago i woke up a little tired again but haven't eaten anything , went to hang out with a friend and we decided to get some food well i ordered food that contain a lot of protein but not carbs. we went back home and i remember while i stayed home i started to get tired probably the lack of sleep and the food being digested my body got sleepy so my friend offered me a pre-work out its called "lit" i took one scoop i remember it very sour.
We went to the gym it kicked in after 40 min and my body couldn't take it. Heart beat raises dizziness my ears popped started to get blurry. I always tried to keep my self in control but i couldn't , in one point i decided to lay down and paramedics checked my heart beats it was around 140 i realized the powder messed me up.
First days were horrible i couldn't figure out whats wrong with me ( by the way i didn't let the paramedics take me to the hospital i knew i will figure out a way to handle it)
Every time i used to eat i was having a panic attack.
Trying to research more i kinda figured out that the food i'm trying to digest is not helping me but causing problems because the body still produces cortisol more then normal( i assume that)
Every time i ate piece of bread i would get my heart beat raising and get dizzy again.
I have two questions
First question:
Having anxiety attack or panic attack that triggers my brain and produce cortisol is it something that takes time for the body to heal from or i will be having this from today for the rest of my life if i wont learn how to maintain cortisol with the right food ?
Second question:
What food should i eat as of right now to help me get back to the gym and gain weight and not freak out every 5 minutes like i'm about to die from a piece of bread.
I figured out that gluten is not good for anxiety/cortisol but i'm not 100% sure about that i do need some one to confirm that please. I do know that meditation helps and breathing techniques help as well but first of all i want to get back in shape i lost in 12 days probably all my hard work just because my metabolism is extremely high.
I also would like to mention that a lot of times when i eat the right food i guess i get very tired after that and i'm often genetically have dark circles but after the incident it is always dark and all doctors they said everything is fine with me i don't have any dis functioning problem or blood issues so its not diabetes.
Thank you very much for understanding and being patient .
