Hi I am new here. I am so scared because I’m having random twitching all over my body and my feet and hands have off and on tingling/burning. I’m also having random tingling/burning sensation in different spots on my body. I’ve had a very stressful/anxious few months. Is this normal with anxiety?

We all googlers are. :) Please talk to your health care provider ... Any local Dr/ opd etc and make them rule out your symptoms with you and tell you how they think what it is and what it is not. It will hopefully bring u clarity

Those are the exact symptoms that sent me spiraling a few months ago. I still haven't recovered from that. I just out of the blue started getting muscle twitching all over - arms, legs, feet, stomach, chest, everywhere. I still have them months later. I was afraid I had some neurological thing going on and then I thought I was having withdrawal from not using my Klonopin for a few days. My doctor said they were just benign fasciculations. If you look that up it will make you feel better. I have always had weird sensations in my feet and calves like weird crawly feelings, but the muscle twitches freaked me out. I am having them as I type this. No weakness anywhere so I quit worrying that it is something bad, but it did sent me in a bad direction with my anxiety and it's worse than its been in years now and has turned into depression! There were other things going on I guess that triggered my anxiety too though - that was the icing on the cake. Maybe that's why they started in me, the other stressors at the time. My doctor wasn't concerned in the least.

I also have had done stressful life events since this pandemic started. It really got bad around July. I’m thinking I suppressed a lot and my body have been in stress overdrive.

And I am having those crawly thingies up my back and shoulders. This is my recent anxiety trigger.
Magnesium supplement helps with twitches

That's very possible. I think this stupid pandemic has made normal people's anxiety go up, let alone those of us with anxiety disorder. For me just not feeling safe going to places I used to go is stressful! Just being more isolated and too much time to think/worry about things.

I do use magnesium but haven't noticed a huge difference, but then again, my anxiety is severe right now.
