Just wondering if anyone has experienced migraines around the time they started experiencing anxiety or have constantly struggled with both?

I had one migraine in my teens and again for a short time (less than 5 in a span of 3 months) in my early 20s. Saw a doctor and was told they were probably hormone/stress related.

Recently, I started having headaches again, the most recent health issue in the long line of symptoms since my anxiety started. They were intense and different than what I had experienced before. I went to the ER and then my primary doctor who both diagnosed me with migraines. I feel like I may have been having them all along without the headache part (didn’t know that was a thing, but apparently it is). I’ve been good for a couple of weeks, but started having one again last night. It takes a couple of days to get over these things. I feel hungover and the pain comes and goes. I feel it in my neck, upper back, and shoulders.

Determining the time of the start of migraines and anxiety is a tough because from what I have learned about migraines is that they can have a variety of symptoms, some of which are like anxiety. And it is possible to have both and they can be linked. The American Migraine Foundation has a web page "The Link Between Migraine, Depression and Anxiety." https://americanmigrainefoundation.org/resource-library/link-between-migraine-depression-anxiety/

Having ER and your primary doctor diagnose both diagnose migraine helps. My anxiety, especially when it is flaring doesn't help stuff. My migraine diagnosis hasn't been confirmed yet.
