Hi everyone,
Yesterday I had an ultrasound of my left breast because of a small lump I found. The doctor said everything looks normal (he didn't say what the lump is) but then also casually said that the lymph nodes in my left armpit are 'a bit enlarged'. I asked if that is not worrisome but he said it is not a problem. Now of course I keep thinking about it and I'm wondering why they are enlarged :/
I don't know how accurate an ultrasound is (and don't want to look it up) but what if he missed something and the lymph nodes are enlarged because there IS cancer somewhere?
I thought I would be relieved, but because of what he said about the lymph nodes I am still stressed (I know it is probably stupid). What do you guys think about this? Should I ask another dr about this or just leave it?
