Losing track of time

Do you ever feel that time flies by, not only during the day but days and weeks? I can't believe how this year has flown by, and many days have seemed the same, and each week you wait for the weekend and to do the things such as putting out the recycling or the weekly shop.

There is only a few months left of this year and I still haven't done most of the things I had planned for this year. I won't get annoyed at myself, but hope it will give me a nudge to wrap up things or to take another look at what is feasible.

Yes, I have noticed this, and it seems the older I get, the quicker the time seems to go. However, the days themselves don't seem to fly by. They often seem to drag, especially when I'm immersed in my anxiety, and it seems as if the situation will never change. I'm also having a difficult time realizing it's September, and the holidays are only a few months off. I really need to get going on some projects that need to be completed before the end of the year.

This last year has disappeared faster than I could hold onto. I can't seem to get anything done anymore and that scares me. I'm going to be twenty-seven soon and I haven't done anything with my life yet. I think part of the problem is that I'm focused on making money to move this problem or that but none of the work I do to pay the bills makes me happy. I keep waiting for something to happen that will make my life better for some illogical reason, but my life is just passing me by. It depresses me that I'm nothing right now, that I haven't finished any of my goals and accomplished something great. It's just frustrating because there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to do all the things I want to do. It makes me anxious that I'll die before I do anything and depressed that I haven't done anything worth noting.

I have the same problem as well. I often feel like I waste one day by overthinking things and not getting much done. The days then pile up, and after a while I realise two weeks have gone past since I felt overwhelmed by everything, and I haven't made much forward progress since then.

Yes, I absolutely cannot believe how much time has flown by. I've been living with my parents for the past couple YEARS now, rather than just staying here for a couple months until I get my life together. At this point I've mostly given up and am just watching the days and years disappear. It seems like it was just New Years, and now the holiday season is almost upon us again.

Yes I noticed that time seems to fly by really fast. I just eat, sleep, work, and there goes another day. I'm also being distracted by other things, and it makes me distracted all the more and I have a hard time finishing my goals.

In one way, yes. In another way, no. Now I am past 60. It seemed like yesterday when I was just 30. Time seemed to have flown past and I didn't notice its passing. That's actually good because it makes me feel like I have not become very much older. However, when I have something important to do, like studying, time seems to slow down. I seem to get so much done and yet time has hardly passed. That's good, too, because it gives me the feeling that I can get so much more done in so much less time.

Actually this year I've done so many things I always didn't want to do and it no longer does feel like the year was wasted. For me, it doesn't feel like the time does fly by anymore and to be honest I no longer set yearly goals. I opt instead for daily goals which I can easily accomplish. Makes me feel good at the end of the day.

Yes, some days do drag and then sometimes it's the end of the month or week without you noticing it so much. I guess we also revolve things around holidays such as Easter, or events such as the Olympics or Black Friday and people gear up for those.

We can all have plans, and sometimes they work out and other times despite all we try to do they don't happen and we have to carry on drifting along until they can happen. I'm okay about it, and get frustrated only because I would like to do more, but I know it's not always possible.

Most of my time has been this. I really want to feel the moments when I was in elementary school again. When I look back, I remember that I give my assignments until the last moments or spending most of my time doing other things.

This year has passed by really fast, I wanted to do a lot of stuff such as learning to play the guitar properly and improving myself mentally. I've procrastinated so much that September has come around and I don't really have anything to show for it, I made some okay progress but had I worked harder I could've been really ahead of "the game' now. Oh well, you live and learn.

There is still three months left until the end of the year so there is still a lot that you can do. If you are interested in learning how to play a guitar there is only one way to do it, and that is start. It doesn't matter if you haven't learned it until now but if you start now, by the end of the year you will be closer to your objective.

Definitely! I've already started a long time ago but I just lack the motivation to do it. I'm at the stage where I need to learn a lot of chords and patterns while I started to play the guitar because I wanted to play some cool songs, it's definitely taking a while for me to build up muscle memory. I hope these last three months will be productive for me, time will tell.

Time passes so quickly it seems. I find that older that I get the faster time flies. I always found it funny how the days are work seem so long. I have there five days a week but yet the months and years fly by. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Time goes go by too quickly, especially when you have things you wanted to accomplish, and haven't been able to. I have so much to do, but yet never seem to find the time or more appropriatley the will to do it. Is it anxiety and fear of making a bad decision or just laziness and not wanting to put forth any effort...Depression, or some combination of all 3? I would guess the latter. It is hard to be motivated sometimes.

Time seems to fly faster when I hit my 30's. The year is about to close and I have yet to accomplish half of my goals for the year. It just seems that there are so many things to do with so little time. A lot of things have happened that were unexpected and those events have taken their toll on me and left me with little energy and time to pursue the goals I've set for the year. It can be disconcerting to a certain degree but I never let that discourage me from making long term plans.
