I used to post in SA and avpd forums. They have a tendency to get really quiet and die though. I have coped with SA with an active life, but COVID has destroyed that. Furloughed from work and stuck at home. So I searched for SA/avpd forums and found this.

Welcome to this forum. As you will see we have a dedicated section all about the virus. Lot of posting going on in there. As a lot of people are frightened of it. So make yourself at home.

Welcome Aries. When you wrote "SA" I thought you might be referring to the Something Awful forums, which gave me a shot of nostalgia. I was a heavy contributor there in the early 2000s.

Welcome, Aries.

I hope that as soon as the coronavirus crises is over that you'll be able to resume your active life.

I doubt it. I'm not even sure I will have a job much longer. And my hobby is attending classical concerts. Lots of organizations are going to go broke.

They may, but musicians will continue to play and eventually orgs will reform.

I hope so. I know after Boston opera went broke Odyssey Opera formed pretty quickly. I also wonder if it will be hard to get into Canada. They've had less COVID than this side of the border so they might decide not to let people in. Most of my concerts are in Montreal.
