During this time, how about we list some projects or chores we want to accomplish or those that we complete? Perhaps, this will distract us.

Today, I mowed the lawn and also trimmed. It really felt good being outside and breathing the fresh air. Normally, I’m finicky about getting grass all over me but today was different - I was actually thankful just being in the moment and having grass from head to toe.

Goals: *stain some fencing, wash my car ( so that it will be clean during quarantine...) and try to repair some fencing.

I love this! :) I want to finish some painting we have been working on in the house, and get my spring garden going. Also be outside with my son every day.

Getting the gardening started would be a huge accomplishment and enjoyable. I’m sure your son will like it, too. After reading this, I want to plant a few things.

I bought an online Spanish course a few weeks ago and I guess now is the perfect time to start.
I actually did start a few days ago and so far I am enjoying it more than I thought :)

Well, he does NOT like it (ha!) but my husband does. He's the real gardener when it comes to veggies and all the things edible. He also does beekeeping, which my little boy DOES like. He has a little beekeeping suit. It's precious. I do shrubs and flowers, but this year I am trying to help more with the vegetables, just to spend time together. So far I haven't killed anything. Lol
It's weird how having food growing at home feels secure in times of uncertainty. I keep thinking about how pioneers (I'm in the US) headed west with NOTHING and just ate what they hunted and grew. I don't think we will ever go back to that, of course, but it's interesting to remember what we are capable of as the human race. Get out there and plant yourself some tomatoes! :p

I am not on quarantine and still working full time but here’s some of my goals:
  • Finish a baby blanket I’m making for a friend
  • Clean my room completely
  • Get a donation bag of clothes together
  • Make some investments while the market is tanked
  • Reprogram my mind to start dieting again
  • Trim my dead ends on my hair
  • Go through my finances and figure out over the last 3 months how much I’ve spent on fast food and try not to do that anymore

What I accomplished this morning was shoveling snow in my driveway, as we received almost a foot of new snow last night.

When things get warmer around here, I would like to rake all of the stones out of the lawn.

A foot of snow sounds great about now! Can you post a pic of it?

Well since i work for government its been a scary time for me. They have me helping the homeless population in these times with Corona virus testing. I work two days than off for two days. My wife is also in the medical field. Lets just say life is uncertain and interesting at this time. But i have found more time to be with kids. We built a tree fort and i taught them how to trim a hedge. I guess its home school for the real word. But i am on call 247 and never know when i will have to leave.

Those are memories for both you and your kids.

Sounds like your job could be intense at times.

Just recently it became more interesting. Usually i would be doing storm water construction projects. Clean water act stuff but we were shut down and sent home. I came in and told my manager i want to help where i can and thats were i got put. I asked for it lol. I just wanted to help. Yes i don't want my kids to be in fear during the outbreak. Some good needs to come from the suffering.

I should clean and organize my house, but it's too far gone. I have collected far too many classical music CDs - 20,000 I think. I also should get on the garage roof to nail something on the grate the raccoon tore off - now the little booger is living up there. But I don't want to have another accident up there. Last time I fought a coon up there I cut my finger open and ended up in the ER.
