Lexapro Upped

I had a doctor appointment on September 13th. My doc upped my meds from 5mg to 10mg. The nausea and diarrhea are back due to the mg increase. On top of that I have a nasty cold. It's been a rough week.

I started out at 10 mg and went thru the same thing, then got upped to 20mg and went thru the same as you for about a week. No problems with it now. Had the 5mg helped for awhile? I'm very pleased with the help the 20mg has given me.

The 5mg had helped. The side effects had finally worn off and now it feels like back to square with the 10mg. Hopefully it will get better.

I used to take Lexapro and it worked well. Was feeling better, so got off of it over a year and a half ago. Big mistake as H.A. came back in full force. I tried to re start it at 10 mg, had bad g.i side effect so quit. Dr. said to start at 5 every other day and gradually increase....I'm even nervous about doing this. I know I need to, just can't get myself to actually do it. I take a very low dose of Klonopin to get me by, but long term use of this med is bad. In a pickle.
