I’m supposed to sfart lexapro 10 mg and I’m worried it will make me feel drunk and sick. I don’t really wanna feel crappy around the holidays. I mean if it’s for like a few days that’s fine but when I started my mirtazapine I felt drunk and sick for two weeks. I know everyone is different but can anyone helps or tell me their experiences

Lexapro for the past ten years has had just very minor side effects for me.

I took Zoloft (which is like Lexapro), for 2 months. The only side effects I had was tiredness, fatigue and a slight urinating issue (which went away after a 2-3 weeks). Nothing too bad. You should be fine, although like you said, everyone is different.

Hey! Lexapro shouldn't have that effect. I am on it - have been off and on for about six years. The first couple of weeks, I feel a little nauseous (mild), and sometimes a little light-headed. It goes away after...hope that helps.

I’ve been on Zoloft in the past which I think works similar to that and haven’t had any major issues. The only real symptoms it actually ever gave me was while coming off of it and those didn’t last very long.
