Kinda funny health anxiety story

So I was getting ready to wind down after a pretty long day. I run myself a bath to relax in for a bit. I’m taking my socks off to go in the bath and there is this black ring around my ankle area. I freaked out. Hyper ventilated. Swore it was a blood clot and everything else. Paced threw the house for a good hour. Consulted dr google. Meanwhile having major chest pains. Can’t breathe. Spiraling. Convinced this is the end. Well. One of the times I paced by my wife she stops me and goes “what color socks were you wearing today” and I go look and they’re black. Well. She comes over with a wet towel and proceeds to wipe the ink stains from my socks off my foot. So yeah. Turns out.... eh not dying. Just buy cheap socks.

I love looking back at my stupid anxiety moments! I mean really! It can be quite funny. I bet we are entertaining to watch in action!
Like the first time I kissed my husband I thought I got an std so ran to the urgent care and insisted on getting every std test done in my mouth. They were laughing so hard one nurse even went to get another one so I could tell her why I was there too.
The doctor gave me all the tests I requested though to calm me down.
