K-Drama Complaints

I'm in the middle of finishing a Korean drama called Cunning Single Lady on Viki and I hate the lead character. It annoys me how self absorbed he is and how he never realizes the sacrifices his ex-wife made for hime when they were married. His family is a trip, and basically accuse her of being a gold digger. They accused her family of being that way, and that wasn't exactly wrong. but it was done so rudely. I just hate the lead man, but my mom keeps promising me that I'll like him but I just don't. I like the second lead, but he's younger than her and I get why she would be weary of it even though I understand. it upsets me because I know how it will end but I don't like to leave things unfinished. Does anyone here watch k-dramas?

Omg yes, I have watched k dramas for three years now and I really love them. And I also use the viki platform, the comments are one of the best features of it. I'm currently watching Doctors, and it's about a girl who used to be really rebel when she was a teenager but she ends up becoming a doctor. What I live about it is that the main character is a really strong woman, physically and mentally, and that's something that you don't really see on a k drama. But I still love them.

Seems like there are K-Drama fans in here. As for me, they don't really appeal to me. I was never really drawn to watching telenovelas, with the exception of being a young kid in the late 90's and having no cable and internet, so I had no choice but to entertain myself with watching those Spanish telenovelas being aired on tv. Now that there are a whole lot of ways to be entertained, then I won't watch them anymore, hehe.
