What do your panic attacks feel like? Or if you have all day anxiety how does it make your body feel? When I’m anxious I start sweating but im cold and it feels like my whole body inside and out is just tingling and my brain wants me to just scream and lose it but I can’t let it out.

Bloody awful, and that's putting it mildly if the attack is severe. But contrary to popular belief panic attacks can't harm you physically. It can all begin with a feeling of apprehension. followed by trembling, sweating, palpitations and many other symptoms. The wanting to rush out of the situation, like being in a shop or some such place, and get back to your car where you can sit and cool down. Now what is different about you in the car or in the supermarket? Fear! You have returned to your 'safe' zone. Panic attacks need to be seen through. No retreating into safety. When we feel one coming STOP!! Let the feeling sweep over you but don't add SECOND FEAR. That's the 'OMG's and the what ifs' Attacks always die down due to the adrenaline being used up. If we become afraid of them then they will recur because anything can trigger one. 'Everyone is looking at me!' No they are not. People are too occupied to notice how you may be feeling. The secret still lies in total acceptance without adding fear to fear. You may well panic in the future, but it will no longer matter.
You will know how to deal with it. 'Here you are again, go on then do your worst I am ready for you'. Carry on with what you are doing with the panic there but with 100% acceptance. Not easy? Of course it's not, what is in anxiety!!

Right now I’m not having a panic attack, but I am in the midst of ruminating on not being able to remember if I made an error on something at work a few months ago.
My heart rate is pounding, I’m having hot flashes, and I’ve got dry mouth.

I’ve told myself it’s only anxiety.
I’ve been for a walk in the park.
I’ve drank plenty of fluids.
I’ve had something to eat.
I’ve listened to an anxiety podcast.
Im currently having a bath.
Afterwards I will try some yoga.
I’ve read online tips as to how to get out of this cycle (how strange the google links are all purple, as if I’ve clocked on them a thousand times before.. lol)

This isn’t a panic attack though, those are worse than this when I have them.

I get a really dry mouth also. I have googled so many times on how to calm yourself and stuff like that and I just read the same thing over and over lol.I like taking walks with my son when I’m kind of anxious but I’m in Texas and it is so hot right now and I hate the heat. I might try some yoga! What is a good podcast to listen to?

I hope the yoga works for you, and I hope it works for me too. I’m going to look on YouTube for one that is anxiety specific. I usually follow Yoga With Adrienne, but I feel I may need something more targeted today.

A podcast I’ve felt helpful in the past is called ‘The Anxiety and OCD podcast’ by RobertJamesCoaching

EDIT:
Just a quick update, I did a 10 minute yoga meditation for anxiety by Yoga with Adrienne just now, and I feel a lot better. The heavy feeling has lifted, and although I can still feel the thoughts, they’re not as they were.

This is the meditation:

I have to admit, I am surprised it worked as well as it did. I think this comes from having most things not work for me.
