I know this isn’t suppose to be a forum where politics are discussed, but it’s clear to me that the federal response has been frighteningly bad. Some governors (Cuomo and the California governor) are busting their butts to do what they can to get supplies in the face of mixed messages and no action by the feds (like ORDERING certain companies to convert factories to produce masks, ventilators etc FOR AMERICANS).
I‘ll get off my soapbox, but it’s so frustrating to watch what’s happening in my homeland. I live in Canada now, and for the most part, Trudeau and the premieres (governors) are on the same page. Canada has 10% of the US population so I look at the US cases/deaths and take 10% of that. So far, Canada is well below the US rates.
I have family and friends back in the US and worry everyday for them.
