It’s been 4 months since my last post because I’ve been 4 months anxiety free. In early August, I was put on a low dose of Paxil and, after a rough transition into the medication, I started the most wonderful streak of symptom free weeks.
All was going well until this week. A series of unfortunate and stressful circumstances have seemly lead to a return to my anxiety - despite my still being on Paxil.
My anxiety brain is telling me I’m at risk of a heart attack again - despite being a healthy 36 year old. I think I’ve got a metallic taste in my mouth... I’ve got this horrible cough (from a cold)... my generic anxiety driven chest tightness is back with a little bit of lightheadedness and an inability to focus. It sucks.
So... besides venting... here’s my question:
Has anyone experienced sudden anxiety again after finding success with their meds? It freaks me out even more to get getting this kind of anxiety attack despite being on my Paxil.
Thanks everyone. It’s good to know this community is always here for me to come back to whenever I need it. Thanks Thanks Thanks
Let’s start 2019 off with healthy and peaceful minds.
