I cant sleep. I am so exhausted. The past 2 days I maybe have slept 5 hours. Normally I have zero issue sleeping. I can get comfortable and get just about asleep and then it's like a wave of panic comes over and I'm jolted awake, again and again and again. All night long. I feel like I'm losing my mind from lack of sleep. I cant stop crying because I'm so frustrated with my body.

I’ve had this same thing before. I have a tv in my room and if I can’t fall asleep I’ll put on a show I really like (usually parks and rec). I really just put it on for the sound and it sort of comforts me. That helps distract my mind and I just drift off to sleep sort of. You could try something like that.

it might be that your mind is overly active too much so that you can’t sleep. It might be a good idea before you go to bed, to take a hot bath or shower, the listen to some relaxing music. No exciting stuff 30min bevor going to bed. Let your mind calm down.

It seems like you are so stressed and anxious :( It is a normal stress response, and I hope it gets better for you... Asmr videos usually help me drift off to sleep, or a sleep-inducing music playlist. Whenever you wake up in the middle of the night, the first thought can be: Sleep. Don't blame yourself or stressed about losing sleep. Just sleep. It's okay if you can't too. It gets better... If it doesn't even for a long time, it might be hormone imbalance and i think a lot of doctors can help with that.

As long as it helps, that’s the main thing :)
