Hi.. new to this community.
Been suffering from anxiety since middle of last year, still taking medication but plan to be ease of shortly until Friday, I had my first anxiety attack in 4 months. I’m a bit of a prankster but since this attack ( only a couple of day ) I have stopped pranking. But want I’m more concerned about is what if someone scared me as a prank.. would this be bad for my anxiety.

Depends they done on you. A fright we should be able to handle. Might make you jump. But it should cause no harm. Other pranks can be a bit over the top. To the extent were people want to out prank each other. Do something worse than the last person done. These are big on you tube. People like to video tape the so called pranks. Normal prank would be harmless. But some are not normal these days.

That's a tough one - I think pranks, if they're good-natured, have to be based on trust and respect. Anyone who knows me well enough knows that scaring me would not be kind or funny - I've been through too many scares, and my anxiety would flare for sure. But I have been the butt of good-natured office pranks many times, and I think they're hysterical. They make me feel loved, make me laugh, and make me feel like I'm part of a little family that enjoys working together. So it depends on intention, and on what you want to make the other person feel with a prank. You have to ask yourself - am I just scaring someone for my own entertainment, or will we both laugh at this and be better friends after?
