Is anyone else terrified of being allergic to every single piece of food that they eat?

Recently for the past few weeks, every time I eat any food of any kind I’m terrified that my throat will close up because I’ll be allergic. I have weird reactions to random foods like I’ll break out in hives and it never affects my throat but I’m scared of there being a new food every day even if I eat that food all the time with no problems. My anxiety is so bad that I’m able to create the sensation that my throat really is closing up.

Common with anxiety of the whole throat appearing to close up. Something a lot of us have had in the past. All about learning to relax and trusting the food you are eating. It is clearly on your mind, so will always appear worse, until you do learn to relax and just eat without thinking about it.

I’m not terrified over everything I eat, however, if it’s been a while since I’ve eaten something - for example, I hadn’t had a beer in a while and after I took the first sip I suddenly thought “what if I’m allergic to hops now”...also, eating honey and wondering if I might be allergic to the pollen from bees. LOL! Trust me, I get it.
