Okay so this is going to be lengthy but bare with me bc I'm freaking out. So 2014 I enrolled in online college, I took a course that wasn't in my interest switching from one to another. Overall I wasn't too interested and never took it seriously. But I wasn't ready to go away to college bc I was indecisive about what I wanted to study. I originally wanted to take a year off and just be bc high school was really draining. But living with my mother she struggled with making ends meet and still does with me still currently living with her. So long story short I ended up in academic suspension and having to pay back my financial aid and loans. It wasn't a lot at first bc i hadn't let the interest run up or anything. I never told my mom that was why I stopped doing college. She thinks I just gave up bc I did so poorly in hs but I was mainly bad with math. I still ended up graduating bc I was able to pass my tests with a passing average. She was told I wouldn't by the school and freaked out and told my whole family I wasn't going to graduate. I have a bit of a "learning disorder" and it just takes me a bit longer to comprehend things than others. So here we are in 2019 I'm in default/offset with my student loans and my mom is panicking bc we live on income based housing and I just got a new job at Skechers and I have minimal work experience so their only paying me $9 as opposed to $11 that I could be making. With income base if two adults are living in the household, they charge 60% if income so we basically won't be able to afford the rent. This happened to us before and I had to quit my Arby's job. That was my first official job due to my anxiety it was hard for me to get one bc of my lack of experience. I never had a job when I was younger. So anyway we moved from there to this one and now this lady is going up on our rent. So anyway I called today to try and make an arrangement to make small payments on my loans. The lady asked for my job info and proceeded to ask if I could pay a minimum of $5 today by card. My mom came back From work and heard me on the phone and made me hang up bc she didn't want me giving out that info yet. Now they took my tax refund which was only $42 bc I didn't get to work long. My mom is worried they take my paycheck from work now since I have out my info. But I told her to scrap everything and that I'll call her back bcuz I have no way to pay them yet. I don't know what to do and it's got my mom all upset and me anxious bc I'm an idiot that is entirely too old to be this damn stupid and lost. All I'm asking is, do any of you think they will take my paycheck still? It's my fault for ignoring all the calls and letters and now they want their money.

They can't take your paycheck without going to court so don't worry about that. I wish you the very best with everything else.
