So I am a hypochondriac otherwise I wouldn't be on this site, and there have been a number of conditions i thought i had that now seem ridiculous to me. But this seems to the scariest and hardest to get over. I am genuinely concerned that I might have MS or something and nobody is taking me seriously, so I would appreciate it if someone could get back to me if they have or have had similar symptoms as me. My symptoms are:

Reduced feeling in my left big toe accompanied with electrical sensations up and down my left foot
[this one is really concerning me]

A painless electrical sensation in both arms (mostly the left one) when stretching them or flexing them. This one seems to come and go, but often comes back after I've been drinking alcohol weirdly.

Long periods of dizziness

Confusion, what I mean by this is someone will say something to me and it'll sound like complete gibberish until i get them to repeat what they said.

Feeling tired around the muscles when i haven't done much exercise

Feeling drowsy after a decent night's sleep, this one doesn't worry me as much but i thought i should still mention it.

One more symptom that I'm worried about is my clumsiness, now I've always been a clumsy person but recently I don't actually noticed that I've dropped something until someone points it out to me.

These are most of the symptoms the are making me worry CONSTANTLY and would really appreciate it if someone can shed some light on these or tell me if there experiencing the same thing. Thank you.

Hey im not your doctor, but i know a lot of this can be anxiety, i've had nerve jolts when i roll my shoulders, i've had balance issues, DEFINITELY had the low energy and fatigue, being tired and drowsy after waking up, barely staying awake on my way to work, i had an episode some months ago where my right arm and leg went totally weak and numb for a few hours, i have many many other symptoms and my neuro still says i dont have MS. which was just 1 of my main fears. im still doing testing to find out what it is but rather than live in fear and doubting my doctors i decided to be more active against my fears and start a strict healing diet that runs concurrent to me waiting for diagnostics. and so far its helped incredibly well, for my fatigue, my pain, my energy, my sleep. you may think MS is a death sentence or any related issue, its actually not. theres a lot you can do to stop it or even just help with the anxiety thats causing your symptoms, either way you can solve the problem right here

I’m curious what diet changes have you made?
i follow the wahls protocol, look up the lady in the video from my last comment, her name is terry wahls and shes a doctor who does clinical trials with her diet, basically its paleo based but many inflammatory things are removed like: grain, dairy, legumes.

Hey
My moms very close friend has MS and she is still alive and well. I can assure you you most LIKELY DO NOT have MS. all the symptoms your experiencing I have experienced at some point and at times at once. I thought I was having a stroke and no one took me seriously. I know its so hard when you genuinely feel as though you have MS and people are so nonchalant to dismiss you instead of explaining to you exactly why you shouldn't worry and why you don't have MS. Doctors can be very bad at doing this. Please feel free to reach out to me because I have experienced many of your symptoms and I am still here. No stroke yet, no MS, No brain hemmoraging,
those are just a few of the MANY MANY things that I use to think I was getting.

I have had many of your symptoms as well. I few years ago, I was constantly at the doctor office and ER thinking I had MS, or a stroke. Had so many tests completed- of course, everything was "normal" and the cause of my symptoms were never found. I still have occasional clumsiness (often drop things), numbness, tingling, infrequent visual issues, etc... I am still here and haven't been diagnosed with anything. I also do know someone with MS- she has had it for over 20 years now and you would never know it unless she told you. You are going to be just fine.

Sorry I’m jumping in late on this thread, but I wanted to pitch in as well.
Maryam and I have a commodity in this case in that my mom’s best friend has MS. Never knew she did until my mom told me. She looked like a perfectly healthy person in my book, but she ended up having MS, and I would’ve never known by looking at her. She’s still alive and kicking at 50 years old.
I don’t believe your symptoms would be caused by MS, rather just common anxiety symptoms. If you head over to Cuchculan’s post on the anxiety forum, there’s a list of 200 anxiety symptoms. I’m sure if you look through that list, your symptoms will show up.

I have done a lot of research on the disease and how you could live your entire and only ever be affected by it a handful of times but you know health anxiety always takes over and I fear that im going to be permanently wheelchair bound with most of my body completely paralyzed. Thanks this does make me feel better

I just posted above for the first time (worried about Pancreatic Cancer) and saw this thread and had to read it. I had a huge fear about 5 years ago of this, as well. Lots of numbing in my arms and legs, pins and needles feelings. I felt clumsy and like my tongue was always getting in the way. I had a few other symptoms, though I can't remember them all now.

I went to many doctor appointments and eventually had an MRI. It came back clean, and after changing some of my anxiety meds and counseling all of the symptoms went away. I remember being so overwhelmed with anxiety and how crippling it was. I hope you can get the answers you're looking for soon.
