I would imagine it's possible for COVID to cause reactive lymph nodes, since it is a virus. That's just my guess, however, and I'm no medical professional. Sounds like you're doing alright hanging in there so far!

I've been slacking today on my hydration, and I seen something when I looked up what it was called about dehydration, so I'm assuming it's all linked...awk I'll be fiiiiiine. Getting by so far! Day 5 tomorrow, feel like if I'm still half decent then, I'll be over the worst of it. Here's hoping

Noticed a really swollen lymph node (I think), under my chin, it's incredibly round. Little worried, but hopefully it's went down by tomorrow.
Just looked it up (not anything bad, just if it was a lymph node!), and it's actually my submandibular gland. Too scared to look up if that's a covid symptom, so just going to hope it dies down over the next few days, because it's extremelyyyyy round.
Certainly not surprising that a node would make itself apparent considering what you’re fighting, since that’s what nodes do. Natural reaction, irrespective of whether it’s part of the COVID symptoms.

Good stuff! It's still pretty crazy to me that the experience with COVID is so drastically different from person to person. Cold and flu tend to come with almost the same symptoms for most folks who get them. But with COVID you could have a single symptom (my oldest had only loss of smell/taste the entire duration of the infection), while others have moderate or severe flu like symptoms.

My experience first time round was nothing like this, I was so much worse. Not hospital level or anything, but the aches and fevers were unreal, and I slept for about 18 hours solid every day. I've been lucky this time. It's complete luck of the draw, it's so odd. Scary aswell though, as you would pass a cold about before without thinking, because you know worst case scenario, other people will only get a cold. With covid, I might be completely fine, but someone could catch the same thing from me and die. It's so unpredictable.

Thank you, common sense tells us this, haha, just a moment of panic, thank you for the reassurance! ❤

Just looked it up.
Sialadenitis: A Possible Early Manifestation of COVID-19

I would just eat more Indian food to treat it.

Swollen nodes and glands are par for the course with any flu type virus. It's not indicative of a anything one way or the other.

It's not luck, it's easier this time because you've had it before and your immune system was prepared for it.
