Hello. What have you found most beneficial to cope with corona anxiety? I haven’t left my home since March, except to take a walk. But I just finished reading an article about a woman who did the same thing and somehow still got corona and ended up in the hospital. She thinks she got it from a package. Of course since I had a package delivered today I’m convinced I’ll be catching it. How do you avoid this dark rabbit hole?

Are you talking about the lady that got groceries delivered and said she had only left her house to go to the pharmacy so she assumed it was from the groceries?

I simply do what I can to go by the rules. That does not mean all others out there do the same thing. Washing of hands and the likes when out and I have come back home. I am the shopper. No choice in that one. Do my best to keep my distance from others in the shops. So far, so good. That could all change very quickly. As for any parcels that arrive? I open and remove the contents of the parcel and dump plastic wrapping and wash my hands. Have had a few items arrive. At best I can say is to treat it like you would when you normally leave the house. As a rule even before all this bega, I would not be close to people in shops anyway. Nothing has really changed there. When paying for items I always used to place the money on the counter anyway. I expect them to place the change on the counter too. Common sense really.

No, I read that article too, but I am referring to someone local to me.

So the person you’re referring to has not had contact with anyone at all?
She lives with her mom, but according to the article they hadn’t gone out. Had groceries delivered etc. of course the report may not be telling you everything.

Part of how I cope with the virus is to take the necessary steps and precautions to try to avoid catching it, but not think about the virus too much.
