Hello friends.

It's been a rough couple of years now without a doubt and if you're content you're doing better than most of the world in the current time.

My question is how close have you been to death or felt?

This last week for me was tough.
Thursday I started feeling really weak and body aches by Friday Lord have mercy fever, chills, coughing it was horrible I Got COVID and I'm vaccinated that was probably the worst 4 days of my life.
Everything broke late last night early morning so I'm better but yeah I hope never again.

Wow that's terrible. I'm glad you are feeling better. I just want all this Covid stuff to go away! I just got my booster last Thursday and felt terrible Friday and Saturday with swollen lymph nodes under my arm and on my collar bone and felt like I had the flu. Feeling that bad from the vaccine I sure wouldn't want to get Covid.

A lot of vaccinated people are still getting it but thankfully they don't seem to get as sick, but it sounds like it's still pretty bad. Glad you are feeling better!

I've felt "close to death" (according to an anxious mind) too many times to count. When I have a severe panic attack I feel like I'm on my death bed. When I've been convinced that I have some illness or another I also feel that way. I think it's quite common.

Yes, it is common in anxiety. But every human fears death. The old ego hangs on and doesn't want it to all to end. But once again, facing and accepting the inevitable takes a lot of the sting out of it. Who was it said that there are only too certainties in life 'taxes and death'.
I believe we are not just mind and body, as most therapies are based on, but also Spirit. Psychosomatic illnesses are all about the mind and body, but very little about us being Spiritual beings is mentioned. This is NOT religion. To me organised religion is simply creating a power base to control other people into their way of thinking. Love, empathy, the need to help others is all part of our Spiritual being.
Everyone has it, even the most so called sinful person has it, but it mostly goes unrecognised.

I just had a horrible vicious anxiety attack last night. My 20 year old daughter got her booster the day before. Last night she told me she felt a hard small painful lump on her collarbone. I was so filled with fear I couldn’t help her. Reading your post just now relieved some of that anxiety. Thank you Lord for this forum.
I hope you feel better.
And God please take COVID away.

Have you trauma in your past?
I think, though not sure, that my HA started when I was 12 and my oldest sister got sick. I watched her get sicker and sicker til she died four years later. I always knew she would die. After that, I knew I would die. And I’ve been dying now for over 40 years.

No, i actually havent. Ive had slight HA for the past year, but now im actually feeling that my symptoms are very convincing. Thats the reason why my anxiety has been so bad for the last couple of weeks.

My mom died when I was 18, I’ve never been the same. It’s been 27 years and I’ve been convinced I have terminal illness after terminal illness. It’s not everyday. I’ve gone months and months with smooth seas. But, when HA hits you….WHAM it feels like there’s no hope in sight.

This HA stuff is so powerfull!! i know how unreliable my own head is AND ive gotten a guarantee by a specialist! Im a 18 year old dude and for two days i was convinced i had pancreatic cancer! I went on walks and just accepted my faith. Now its testicular cancer... ive just accepted that the medical system has failed me, and that my cancer wont be dected.

Can I ask what your symptoms are?

You don’t have cancer. I’ve thought I’ve had it my whole adolescent and adult life. My mom also thought she was always dying. She lived to be 98!! I hope you can get hold of your HA and be able to enjoy the Long Life you have in front of you. The days may go by slow, but the years go by quick.

98 years is very impressive! This one feels very convincing. My back pain is killing me. But again testicular cancer is a very obvious one to detect. Would be very weird if 5 doctors and a urologist missed it... Ive had a urine test, bloodwork and ultrasound done. They have cleared me and there is really nothing more to do.

Of course! testicular pain that has gotten better, and upper/mid back pain. Urologist guaranteed me it isnt cancer. Still doubting...
Cancer pain doesn’t get better. It gets progressively worse. I’m sure you’re fine. You’re 18. You’re young and healthy. Now go out and do the fun things us older people can’t do anymore.
I know I can’t convince you. I just know I’ve wasted my whole life thinking the way you’re thinking and I’m sad knowing I can’t get those years back. I don’t want to see the same thing happen to you. Sending good thoughts.

Thank you. And also to have cancer pains, the tumor has to be big and detectable. Trying to stay positive. Thing is, before all this i was living best life. Parties, attention from the opposite sex, made a lot of friends. All of that would have made me so happy if it wasnt for this anxiety... hoping this goes away very soon and that i can start living again. Your thoughts are much appreciated!!!

When I was your age I was convinced I had a brain tumor. I even somehow got my body to walk abnormally for a few years. Honestly, I had a slight limp which I was sure was from the tumor. Our minds are so powerful!! I was too afraid to see a dr. Thought for sure i would get the dreaded diagnosis. You’ve seen drs. They can’t all be wrong. You’re ok!!
