In hindsight it seems pretty obvious. My entire life I’ve been terrified of talking to strangers about anything not strictly school related. Cheated myself out of so many relationships I could’ve had because I convinced myself they would’ve said no when looking back they were obviously trying to give hints lmao. It seems like recognizing past faults doesn’t guarantee future perfection so that’s still a work in progress LOL. I find it difficult to make friends irl so maybe it will prove easier over text

When you find the key to perfection, please tell us what it is. On the other hand, I’ve heard hind sight is 20/20, and it seems you may have it. Looking back and recognizing your mistakes is a gift to be able to learn from them. No one is perfect, no one gets it right all the time, we all need to allow ourselves some leeway to make mistakes, else how do we learn? Best to you.

You speak for yourself. :):):):):) I am perfect!!!!! (Sounds like a Darlek!!! Just kidding. :(:(:(:() Yes I am, because nowhere in the whole world is there another me. And that goes for all of us. We are all unique and deserve a good life free from worry. We don't get it though do we? And why? Because in anxiety we tend to see only the dark side. We live in a world of opposites. Good, bad. Light, dark etc. Think of a grandfather clock. (It's OK, I have not gone off, well not yet!!). The pendulum swings between the two opposites, right and left, but at the fulcrum, from where the pendulum is attached, it is still. The fulcrum watches the pendulum swing to and fro but is not moved by it. This is a good analogy because at the fulcrum is where we want to be. Watching but not moved by events. Like watching a film on a screen. We know it's not true, but are still fascinated by it. Watching a horror movie. We know it's all acting but we can get very frightened by it. So with anxiety. It's all smoke and mirrors but seems so real.
Peace is always there no matter how bad we may feel at this moment. Like real unconditional love, nothing can change that. This nightmare is a journey into the unknown, and humans always fear the unknown. But I have quoted before that old medieval monk who said 'the dark cloud that breaks with blessings on your head'. Acceptance is allowing that dark cloud to break. It can bestow blessings if we allow it to. ACCEPT IT ALL!!! We need to stop flogging ourselves mentally.
