Hi everyone,
I've joined this form because I would like to share my thoughts on this topic with others and also offer some of the insights that I have gathered over the years from living with a person who often feels crippled by anxiety. I myself only ever get into a panic mode if I am forced to spend any amount of time in small spaces with bad air circulation, or if I have to be in a large crowd. Admittedly, claustrophobia has never been an issue for me until I changed my lifestyle. In fact, I didn't even realize that I had this problem until I moved to another country, where I had to learn how to live in a densely populated city. It was a nightmare for me in the beginning. But I gradually found ways and means to deal with my anxieties. I know that I will never be free of them as long as I have to live in crowded areas, but the intensity is getting less. I am better equipped now.
I look forward to meet you and learn about your experiences and "remedies".
