About 9 months ago, I got a kidney infection and it took multiple medications to get rid of it, and throughout the whole thing I was stressed and worried because it was a serious issue and I was scared and all the medications made me feel sick. Throughout all of that I developed anxiety but I always denied it. For 8 months I’ve been dealing with severe anxiety. I have a ton of physical symptoms. I suffer with lightheadedness/faint feelings 24/7, headaches or an odd pressure, fatigue, body aches, stomach pain, nausea all the time, fast heart rate, chest pains, throat feeling weird, lack of concentration, anxiety/panic attacks often... and more. I basically feel bedridden and have been for months. I Have been to the doctors many times and have had multiple tests done. Recently I went to the ER, and had cat scans, blood tests, EKG’s, ultrasounds, urine tests. Everything comes back normal or negative and a psychiatrist thinks I have disabling anxiety. I think I partly have health anxiety, but the only thing that bugs me is my physical symptoms. If I didn’t have any I believe I’d be okay. I have tried multiple anxiety mediations such as lexapro, Effexor, etc. and they all have made me feel worse physically and my body has a low tolerance of medications so I experience a lot of side effects. I recently was put on propranolol 10mg because of my fast heart rate and anxiety and I’m currently seeing if it helps. I literally feel like I can’t go anywhere because I’m constantly worried I won’t feel good or I’ll feel faint and it’s a scary feeling .I’m just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues:/ it’s frustrating and draining to be ill 24/7.
