Good morning,
My name is Holly and I suffer from stress anxiety do to my work. My job is slowing down and they want me to train in other depts where I am really uncomfortable about trying. I tried one for about a few days and the wanted time to be on my own with a few days. Even if I had questions I can still ask and just place the doctor on hold. This was not working for me. I just felt like I did not understand what I am doing and I hate the fricken phones!! My stress level has literally gotten out of hand. I can’t really eat sleep and I have a knot in the pit of my stomach. I have a 11 month child who keeps me sane. And my dear husband who is there for me but does not necessarily understand. I keep telling my boss this is not for me but they think I can do it and keep pushing me into it!! Ugh!! I have to go to work now! Pray for me!!

Welcome Holly. Can I ask what your job is that's causing so much stress. You're so fortunate to have an understanding spouse but, unless you're going thru what we do, one will never fully understand what our lives are like.

I am data entry at a large medical facility. I get anxiety at all my jobs it is something common when I don’t fully understand a job or the fear of the unknown makes me sick to my stomach. They want me to talk to providers or providers offices that call in and we are supposed to help them. But there is so much to learn and so many things I do not understand. It’s so hard.

You're probably doing much better at the job than you think, even with the anxiety. Your boss isn't going to chance the negative PR if they thought you couldn't handle the providers' inquiries. That dang anxiety is really hard on our self-confidence.

Right!! I’m struggling and trying to understand what I’m doing is so confusing and it all Hippa related and I honestly I love where I’m at right now. I love data entry the only calls we make is to get fax numbers for clinics that’s it. This other job you are on the phones 24/7!
