Hi AC friends,
I hope you're all doing well with the pandemic. Thus far, it's mostly left my family alone, although my health-provider brother and his wife came down with mild-ish versions. My SIL is an ICU nurse, so she knew what to expect. She still has some brain-fog, but otherwise their family got through it (kids both tested positive, neither had symptoms). My daughter started her first year at university, and while its a distance learning format, she applied and was accepted to on-site living in the dormitories. She's on an athletic team, so they actually get tested quite a bit! She's an introvert, so the lack of typical college social life doesn't bother her. I miss her quite a bit though. In one aspect I'm a good deal more fortunate than my own parents at this stage; she gives us zoom calls a couple times a week and I at least get to see her
As for myself, well I'm dropping in here so I've realized that some of my anxiety/depression is nibbling at the edges. I'll contact my psych this week to see if she thinks some adjustments to medication would help, or if I just have to be better about getting to the gym more than once a week. Things keep coming up! I know that strenuous physical exercise seems to be strong medicine for me, but it has to be pretty frequent.
Anyway, I'll be checking threads and seeing how you all are getting on. Be well, and stay safe!
