Anxiety. Anxiety. Anxiety. Your adrenaline is rushing right now. Take deep breaths. Breathe. This will soon be over

I agree, it sounds like anxiety. Heightened sensitivity to normal bodily functions, especially the heartbeat, is a hallmark symptom of anxiety.

Yes - totally anxiety. I had really bad PVC's (irregular heart beats) for almost a year. The cardiologist said there was nothing wrong with my heart and all of my tests came back showing my heart was structurally normal. My cardiologist actually wrote at the bottom of my paperwork to do deep breathing exercises and meditation and work on my anxiety because he said that is a common reason people get them. Of course I became so heart focused I couldn't think of anything else. I don't know anyone with anxiety who hasn't thought there was something wrong with their heart at some point.

Sometimes I feel my heart beats hard when I am dehydrated, try drinking some cool water.

Definitely! I've experienced the same thing, and drinking a lot of water corrects it every time.

You still have anxiety, which causes adrenaline to be released and thus you feel these symptoms. Anxiety isn't something that simply disappears when you relax. It's a process to reduce and eliminate anxiety, not an instant.

Heart anxiety was one of my latest HA things. Just got over it a few weeks ago. If I take my pulse throughout the day my bpm is anywhere from mid-80s to 100, usually in the mid-90s though, and always higher during anxiety attack. I never knew until recently that you were supposed to take it first thing in the morning, and mine is in the low 60s at that time. I have put on 20 lbs and have been way less active since the shutdown, so that definitely doesn't help the daytime resting rate. However, even though it's on the high-end it's still within normal limits for my age. But just in case, I have been hitting the gym hard every day since it re-opened last week for about an hour a day and have been making it a point to eat better, move more, sleep more, drink less alcohol (about 25-33% of what I was drinking before), etc. And a week before that I started jogging/walking for 5 miles a day. After only 2 weeks I have already noticed not only a difference in my heart rate, but my belly is slowly getting slimmer, been sleeping MUCH better, in a better mood, anxiety much lower, etc.

Exercise and healthy living has made a world of a difference for me, I'm actually becoming a little obsessed with it and will start going 2x/day next week. It takes my mind off of thinking about my health constantly. Might not work for everybody, but so far so good for me.

Its natural for anxiety to cause your heart to beat faster. Various breathing methods will help you.
