Hello everyone, I’m happy I found a community that struggles with the same problem as me, I mean I’m not glad you guys are suffering, but at least I’m not alone in this.

During the last two weeks I’ve been going through depression and anxiety over health worries. I already went to the doctor and she even ran some blood tests on me. Everything is ok, as always... But my mind is more powerful than me, it convinces me of crazy stuff. This is the fifth time I go through this, how can I stop this? What can I do?

Hi Guight and welcome. Our anxiety causes our minds to convince us of almost anything, like my being able to be a major league baseball player when I was younger. Are you currently on any medication? Getting any professional counseling? One thing that might help is having more faith in your doctors' findings. She has more incentive to find something wrong than to give you a clean bill of health. You've come to a good place, lots of good and helpful folks here.

Hi Guight. This is my first time on here. I am 80 yrs old and have had anxiety all my life. I think your dr. knows best. I think everyone who has anxiety worries about their health. I know I do. If I have a cold hey my mind goes haywire and it is pneumonia. lol You are not alone. Keep telling yourself it is just anxiety doing this to you. I hope good days are ahead for you. This seems to be a good place.

Hi there. Would definitely agree with Triceps that you should try to have more faith in your doctor. They usually see things more rationally than we health worriers do and they have likely seen almost everything and are very knowledgeable. Just try to accept that you are okay and that the doctor and the blood results are correct! Good luck to you
